PUSH TO ANYTHING (PT-X) OVER CELLULAR
We are a professional communications network provider and the only commercial ICASA-licensed radio trunking network operator in South Africa. Since 1994, we have provided network and airtime services for wireless voice and data communication for telemetry, dispatching, alarm monitoring, fleet management, security and other business- and mission-critical applications.
The network is made up of a combination of analogue, digital (DMR), and IP radio technologies to cater to a broad range of requirements. The network coverage is provided by over 300 analogue and digital (DMR) sites nationwide, augmented by an LTE-based over-the-top service.
Our networks enable disparate groups and teams to communicate on one platform, anywhere in the country. This network has been exceptionally managed over the years to become the most significant operational MPT1327 network in the world.
- We operate a 24/7/365 NOC (Network Operating Centre) facility that supports our networks and others such as the South African Police Service, Gautrain, the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, GSMR and the fishing fleet in Cape Town.
Keep your teams connected and more productive with instant communication.
Push To Talk (PTT)
In an emergency, seconds saved can mean the difference between life and death.
To provide the best emergency response in the shortest period, Altron Nexus developed the Computer Aided Dispatch module for the Nucleus platform.
The platform intelligently finds the closest, most appropriate emergency response unit and dispatches them to the scene.
It integrates seamlessly with IoT and other applications to trigger an emergency response without anyone having to phone a call centre.
If you need business-critical communications, our Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) is the solution for you.
Resource Tracking
To enable the efficient dispatch and management of various resources, the location of each resource must be known.
Intelligent resource tracking does not only show the location but also the capacity and capability of each entity.
For instance, for an ambulance this would show its location, supplies on board, crew qualifications, equipment on board and historical performance.
All these data points enable the Digital Dispatch system to make better decisions.
Workflow & Reports Management
Creating a paperless medical emergency workflow streamlines and accelerates the entire process.
Medical services, patient information and medical treatment details are captured to a central database and managed digitally.
This allows for easy recall of past information for medical staff.
Capturing this data has the additional benefit of medical service management in real-time.
Resource Availability Management
Like resource tracking, this module automatically gathers and uploads the capacity and capability of an emergency room.
As a secondary function, it will notify the ER staff of incoming ambulances and high priority patients.
The module is an extension of the IoT building management system which can be deployed in other dispatch and receiving centres such as Fire Departments or Package processing centres.
