The network is made up of a combination of analogue, digital (DMR), and IP radio technologies to cater to a broad range of requirements. The network coverage is provided by over 300 analogue and digital (DMR) sites nationwide, augmented by an LTE-based over-the-top service. Our networks enable disparate groups and teams to communicate on one platform, anywhere in the country. This network has been exceptionally managed over the years to become the most significant operational MPT1327 network in the world.
Altron Nexus operates a 24/7/365 NOC (Network Operating Centre) facility that supports our networks and others such as the South African Police Service, Gautrain, the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, GSMR and the fishing fleet in Cape Town.
